Sparks of passion ignite

In the heart of their garage, John and Sheyrl, partners in marriage and White Hot Weld, embarked on a transformative journey. Guided by John's welding expertise, Sheryl received her first lesson involving the crafting of art from a simple spoon, sparking her passion for upcycling and creation. This marked the beginning of White Hot Weld, a venture born from love and the desire to turn ordinary materials into extraordinary art.

Forged in creativity

As they ventured into metal art, the dynamic evolved from teacher and student to collaborative partners. Their workspace was equipped with the tools essential for the trade – hammers, grinders, and a TIG welder – and protected by the requisite gear. As they worked together on their metal art, Sheryl's creative ideas blended with John's technical know-how. Amidst the sparks and flames, their art began to take shape!

From love to legacy

After John saw the potential in Sheryl's early works, they began to sell pendants and jewelry, later expanding into sculptures. They have embarked on a journey of showcasing their art at local businesses and art shows. From humble beginnings, White Hot Weld has grown into a collaborative venture for the Penrod's. Today, John and Sheryl are laying the groundwork for teaching others through classes and career opportunities. They're eager to share what they've learned during their artistic journey and the skills they've developed along the way.
